METHOCEL™ J 75 MS is a hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) designed for use in tile adhesives, tape joint compounds and other ready-mix dispersion systems. A cold water dispersible cellulose ether, METHOCEL™ J 75 MS is a high viscosity thickener that has been surface treated to delay solubility, making it easily dispersible in aqueous systems. It develops viscosity as pH is increased, and its distinct molecular structure resists bacterial degradation, helping to increase shelf life of materials formulated with this additive.
